UN NUOVO APPROCCIO ALL'ANALISI DEL FENOMENO \TERRORISMO INTERNAZIONALE\
بواسطة
Pollari, Nicolò
2007
In today's terrorism, to which everybody attaches a religious imprint, Islamic to be exact, it is impossible to see any element of physiognomic homogeneity: despite its unitary matrix, the Muslim universe is very variegated, both as to confession of faith and as to ethnic-geographic distribution. The novelty of the phenomenon is in its global dimension, or better diffusion, amplified by the media sound box and continuously fed by the communication channels of online propaganda and recruiting; above all, favoured by the same globalization of the economic, as well as of the social and political system. The threat aggressiveness level is largely out of control, especially because of the magic spell that has ensured terror strategy success by the financial power that the organizations are able to express. They structure themselves as a global network, of aid fund raising for asserted right causes, not armed ones, but actually support is aimed at Jihad's \"sleeping cells\". Such money movements are possible because they exploit the holes of the system, such as financial havens, or other cases of lack of control and controllability of financial flows, deriving from the absence of a global governance device of the international capital canalization system. It is for this reason why an adequate approach to the analysis of global terrorism cannot start but from a careful study of the counterpart's characteristics. In such a process, the identification of the managing features of terror organizations gets great relevance, in particular as to their economic and financial dimensions, until it reveals the weak points on which to act: oxygenation channels, technologies and techniques of resource dulling.
